VIVES AMBROS
Vives Ambros is a family run cava producer in Montferri Tarragona, smack in the heart of the Alt Camp. Enric and Aida Vives produce award winning sparkling wines that, until now, have never been available in the states. With their certified organic vineyards, the focus of the domain is small production, high quality wines that are aged for much longer than the norm. Housed in what was a co-op at one time, the Vives have refashioned the subterranean rooms and tile lined the fermentation tanks of yesteryear into intriguing aging rooms. Everything is hand riddled and disgorged in the traditional way. The labels are lovingly hand drawn by Aida, a master calligrapher. With degrees in enology and years of experience, both Enric and Aida are determined to bring you a special experience whenever you pop a bottle of Vives Ambros Cava!
